Our Approach
For more than 20 years, Clemleddy Construction has been building luxury, custom homes and quality renovations that consider and compliment the scenic, natural beauty of the Lake Wallenpaupack region of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains.
Owner and President Craig Smyth honored the most influential man in his life—his great grandfather Clement Leddy—when he founded Clemleddy Construction in 1986.
His great grandfather’s unwavering sense of duty, honesty and morality forged a clear path for Smyth, who also acknowledges other important life experiences that helped him along the way. These include the work ethic he learned at an early carpentry job, and the confidence he gained while serving in the Army.
The Clemleddy Team of experienced and professional carpenters strives for perfection on each and every project. The many referrals and return customers are proof of our commitment to homebuilding excellence.

"Being environmentally friendly is a Clemleddy tradition," says Owner and President Craig Smyth, who is recognized within his industry as a Certified Green Professional (CGP). Clemleddy’s commitment to building green continues throughout each project from framing to appliances.

Clyde Kreider Sales Manager Clyde is your main point of contact regarding any new home sales. He actively consults in the building industry and is a part-time instructor for Penn College of Technology and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Additionally, he is a member of both the Pike and Wayne County Builders Association and is the Chairman for the Contractor Quality Commitment (CQC) Committee for both of those Builders Associations. Ryan Smyth Assistant Field Superintendent and Customer Service Representative Ryan coordinates communication between the job site and office personnel and ensures that no detail is overlooked. He interacts directly with the customer on certain building and service issues. A 2006 graduate of Penn State, Ryan has an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering & Technology.
